A couple weeks earlier I was told that referring to your child as "a little shit" was a term of endearment.
I really do not understand how calling your child a 'baby goat' or a 'piece of shit' can be thought of as endearing.

What if the words I want to use are: "I hate it when people say kiddo and littles"?
Live and let live, baby.
That’s very much not live and let live, that’s why you should STFU.
Anonymous wrote:I also hate the word kid. Can we add that to the banned list?

Feel free to ban it from your vernacular, but I love it.
"Kiddo" as a form of address is miles apart from "kiddos" as a general noun. If you like it when someone you're close to calls you "kiddo," please enjoy
I had an older coworker who called anyone younger than he was "kiddo," and I hated it. But we both knew he was doing it to assert his position of authority.
I have no idea why grown women use it to refer to children. It's cutesy. Gag.
