No surprise there. "Brotherhood of the Blue" - they protect their own, and look the other way.

Meanwhile there are articles circulating that indicate his wife and kids were seen buying groceries with food stamps over the years. That’s weird? Clearly he had money to be spending on a massive arsenal of firearms, nice vehicles for himself (wife was apparently car-less) and to splash out on prostitutes. He also seems well appointed in his professional capacity but neighbors say the wife and kids didn’t have nice clothes and looked - poor.
This morning an FBI profiler who described him basically spot on in a profile a decade ago said it’s possible the only reason he had a family was as a cover for his psychopathic activities and that he likely used coercive control on his wife and their children all these years.
In any case while my compassion is obviously first with the families of his victims, his family are victims too. The wife’s lawyer released a brief statement which mentioned the terrible toll this is taking on elderly family members.
I honestly don’t know how anyone recovers from such an experience.

Also, he has a creative skill (architecture) and chose to focus instead on navigating the NYC permitting process. His hobby was similarly bureaucratic-- using the legal system to extort people. It should have come as no surprise to anyone that he's a serial killer. Many such cases.
WTH? You sound nuts.

The other bodies don’t match the same pattern and stretch the entire south shore. The Gilgo 4 were all buried in the same manner in the same location, so it’s easier to tie prove a connection. It’s long been a theory that there are at least 2 killers, and the other one was active in the 90s.
He may not be responsible for those, but he certainly killed others. Serial killers don’t just start killing people when they’re in their 40s.
I don’t doubt that. I meant some of the other murders were specifically tied to another suspect who was convicted of murders that took place in the 90s.

How much do you think she is feigning ignorance about - until she couldn't (because now the public knows)?
Are you trying to say you think she knew he was a serial killer?
If the police thought she knew I’m sure they would have brought charges against her as well. I guess there is still time for that.
I don’t think she knew. BTK’s wife and kids also had no idea.
Re: BTK - "(Psychologist) Mendoza diagnosed Rader with narcissistic, antisocial, and obsessive–compulsive personality disorders: He observed that Rader has a grandiose sense of self, a belief that he is "special" and therefore entitled to special treatment; a pathological need for attention and admiration; a preoccupation with maintaining rigid order and structure; and a complete lack of empathy."
How many of us know someone like this? It seems BTK's wife did not know - or was she just in denial?
