Hair and face giving rocky horror frankfurter vibes. In this pic she looks like Attack of the 50 ft woman with tiny humans

The Herman Munster boots/ shoes on so many of the women really looked odd with the dresses/ outfits they were paired with.

I'm all for a platform, but I felt like they were not elegant at all.

The skirt is part of a dress, you can see the top of the dress underneath the coat (in the same pattern but a more transparent version of the fabric, she did something similar last year with a cape that matched her dress in the same pattern). I'd like to see what the dress underneath looks like but I can't find any photos from inside the event.

Having said that, this feels like a let down after her last two met gala looks, both great:

Because it’s part of why she is an icon. She has iconic hair.

Kind of meh on the look with the coat off her shoulders -- I get why pregnant women sometimes go with the drop waist when they are doing evening gowns, but it's just not my favorite silhouette because it pulls the whole look down and really throws off proportions. I think you need more volume up top to make it work -- otherwise you kind of look like a snow man with is big full skirt around your legs, the belly, and then this little bodice on top.

I'm actually a little bored by the dress itself BUT the cape and her head styling sell it for me.

I don't think she has really found her red carpet style yet. Sometimes she goes extremely sexy/sultry, and sometimes very sweet Disney princess. I think she's still figuring out what her look is.

+1, if I saw that cat somewhere I'd be delighted, and then when the head came off to reveal it was Jared Leto, I'd be extremely disappointed. He sucks.

The Tampa Bay Rays have a cat mascot - DJ Kitty. It's the only thing that gets me interested in "sports"
