Does S2 stand alone from S1? IOW, do I have to watch season 1 first or can I just go straight into season 2?

It stands alone

Season 1 was amazing…except I wish it ended with one less episode. The last episode was horrible.

We've just started S2. I was googling around to see if others were as disappointed and found this weird factoid: Mulligan and Isaac apparently wore earbuds for some of their scenes together, and Netflix had to "spend a small fortune" to edit out the earbuds. Now I can't unsee how weird their ears look, and how their ears are weird in different ways in different shots.

Enjoy.

I just finished S1 and have not yet started S2. Overall I liked it but also it kinda felt like Netflix’s response to White Lotus.

I crochet and kind of gasped at Carey Mulligan’s outfit i in S2E2

This is literally the blanket on my bed that I made a few years ago. I feel so fancy. Or basic. I’m not sure. Anyway, it’s just the same stitch different pattern pieces.

I’m liking S2 so far (didn’t see S1 but might later) but the only thing that’s freaking me out the most is how that younger female lead looks so young to me, she could play 15 and I would be like OK but in the context of this story it tweaks everything. Doesn’t help that Carey Mulligan aged somehow when I wasn’t looking to still way younger than I am

I realized that 15 mins in. Shame.

Small spoiler.

I'm glad y'all are criticizing it, because in the middle of episode two I had to go to doesthedogdie.com and sure enough ... I won't be watching any more of it. I wanted to, but nope.

All the characters in season 2 suck. The storyline is dumb and boring. Forced myself to watch 2 or 3 episodes but can’t watch anymore.
