Love them. We're allowed business class, I usually upgrade to first, and then I have 12+ hours to read my book, have someone call me by my name instead of Mommy, eat good food, and not be bothered by work.

THe only really good food I have ever had on an airline is First Class Air Japan. What carrier is this?

NP. I’ve flown Emirates in business class. The food was pretty good and there was very high quality alcohol, including apparently very expensive bourbon (according to my boss, I don’t drink bourbon).

The canned family Christmas photos taken by a professional photographer where everyone is wearing the same color tone sweater and they are all looking at each other while they are walking through the woods.

The wedding pictures of the bride and her 15 bridesmaids wearing matching robes all looking at each other while holding a flute of champagne and the ones of the dress hanging on a hanger in the window, of course followed by a picture of the married couple staring at each other while walking through the woods. What is it with the damned woods?
Sometimes I just missed the timeless sophistication of old-fashioned posed photos. Too many staged “candids” end up looking more phony and canned than the posed photos.
