It's off topic, but our immigration policy should be decided upon how beneficial it is to our citizenry. Our immigration policy is largely decided on what is good for businesses (cheap labor for both skilled and unskilled positions).

If you care about climate change, then you would realize that adding millions of people to western consumption levels with respect to energy is not a smart proposition. Nor is tearing down green spaces for new housing tracts environmentally responsible.

It’s not about legal or illegal immigrants. It’s about foreign money. People, governments, and companies with no immigration status at all buying up our property and charging us rent and driving up prices.

I actually have looked at buying a house in Canada as I have family very close to the border and ancestors from Quebec. I've considered moving to Canada but Canada doesn't want me - I don't check enough boxes on the questionnaire.

If Canada has made it difficult or impossible for us to buy homes there, then absolutely we should do the same to Canada. And any other country who treats us that way (China).

Otherwise, I'm for controlling landlord profits and that's anti capitalist so Rs will never go for it.
