No, it's usually one round. This hasn't happened in a century. And everyone is free to vote for anyone they want on the first round and any other round.


Only half of the votes are in for the 2nd round and again McCarthy does not have the votes. It's going to a third round.

Dems are unanimous behind Jeffries. Republicans are going to have to compromise somewhere.
