I know this for a fact because I actually know him. He's running because he is very conceited and thinks very highly of himself. He's not going to do anything for his constituents or be available.

I would tend to think 20 years in the Navy made Cao more of an expert on national security than four years as a prosecutor made Wexton an expert on the judiciary system, but it certainly hasn't stopped her from holding forth like she's RBG reincarnated. She's a total lightweight, and it's not like she's served in the House so long that she has any meaningful seniority.
