I also think Bree set any SA claims on Baird college back 20 years. Now everybody is just going to say well she probably made it up like Lucy. But obviously Chris is going around assaulting girls.
But yes, it was very satisfying Stephen got kicked out of Yale and melted down about it.
I’m upset that we did didn’t see Oliver get his, but I imagine in the me too times and now that everyone has an iPhone someone eventually has a recording of him.
You have to remember that Bree thinks Lucy lied about being SA. She thinks the tape is true and she has NO clue she was lying for Pippa's sake at the time she sent the tape out. She also has just been through a succession of betrayals: Marianne, the school, her mom not believing her about Oliver being a predator, Evan sleeping with Lucy, Wrigley sleeping with Pippa. So the tape reveal does not happen in a vacuum or just to get revenge against Lucy.
Oh, you are right I didn’t realize she did not know about the Pippa thing yet. That said they were best friends and wouldn’t she have gotten Lucy’s side of the story? It would be so out of character for anyone to make a tape claiming that they made up sexual assault on campus? I would just be like did someone force you to do this? Did Stephen force you? What was going on? For her to just send it out… I get that she had undergone a lot of trauma, but it was a bridge too far for me.

I found it incredibly dark, sheesh.

I hated the wedding ending.
- Stephen’s broken engagement
- Evan yelling at Wrigley
- Bree smiling at Wrigley after she knows her best friend realizes Bree’s the one who ruined her life
- Stephen on the microphone
It went from being a drama to a beyond silly type of sitcom
-why would Bree be with Wrigley for months before the wedding and yet they never talked about when Bree got back together with Evan?
Stephen on the mic and Evan yelling at Wrigley were so good and yes funny. I think I liked it being funny so much because it was so different from the rest of the series. Was hilarious to see the messed up humor in it all.
your last bullet point - I think you're confusing Bre/Wrigley conversation when he asked why they never talked about what happened. That conversation was at Bre's engagement party.

I wish we knew more clearly what all the characters ended up doing in life bc I don't remember us knowing from earlier on, maybe I forgot?
Upbeat and funny, what? All the relationships were permanently destroyed, except one.
No, it was very clear from the smile between Bree and Wrigley they would end up together. Evan we don’t care about since he did that horrible thing to Bree by making her mom drink. And Stephen and Lucy? They deserve the cruel games they play with each other and at least now she just laughs about it.
He's not the one who made Bree's mom drink. He was surprised and worried about it. It was Evan who specifically took her out and got her drunk.
