Columbia is a fine T20. The school’s newfound USNWR fortunes last year were a fantasy, and it all unraveled quickly.

US News is mass media, like National Enquirer is. Colleges can run circles around these clowns. But they can't game Forbes bc you can't fake outcomes.
I kind of agree that outcomes should be the major criteria, but looks like it has long way to catch up and need to make a lot of improvments.
