They would have to physically pickpocket a guy. Women tend to leave their purses in the seat part of the cart. I am very guilty of this. Had a lady in Giant tell me a few years ago that someone had stolen her wallet in that same Giant while she was looking for something on the shelf and that I should be careful.

Other people - police - have said that this is a common tactic of people that do those types of things, you never know etc. But these women are doing something shady and predatory and have criminal intent behind it. What exactly, I don’t know. I honestly thought it was innocent at first and just annoying, it was other people and a policeman that confirmed this a scam/criminal intent etc
