russia has over a million troops, they are playing games in ukrain, they could destroy it if they wanted to. they are essentially destabilizing the region. that is their goal so they are winning
One of the few who gets it here
Losing generals, tanks, the flagship, the other flagship, those paratroopers, countless troops, irradiating soldies at Chernobyl, that's just playing games.
Sure.
Russia is destroying Ukraine. Russia is destabilizing Russia.

This.
People don’t understand that Ukraine is being saved due to being white Slavs.
Russia could literally erase 40 million people in a month if they wanted.

Hon, Russia doesn't want the Ukrainians, they want to round them up, ship them "east", and replace them all with Russians.
Russia has exposed the weakness of their vaunted army. They can't erase anything. At all.

Putin has been very open about his goals, and early on. You may disagree with them but they are well known. He does not want NATO to expand eastward. He will not tolerate NATO presence/membership/flirtation specifically in Ukraine and Georgia. These were all known facts. The entire problem can be condensed into this sentence: the West does not think Russia ought to have a sphere of influence, and Putin disagrees. That's it.
Quite interestingly, he does not feel the same about the Baltic republics. And this checks out because during the entire time of the USSR they were never really the part of the same space, not culturally. Their otherness was a given so their departure was expected and accepted.

The sanctions were a huge mistake. It’s accelerated the dollar losing reserve status as all other countries don’t want the USA to do it to them and are joining together.
Trump understands the big picture much better than the swamp. Our leaders are stupid.
Plus the misguided Cold War era sanctions drove a tighter bond between Russia, China and India and S America plus egregiously punished USA multinationals who operated and sold to Russia. Now they’re out 10% of their revenue and sold their assets there at a loss or write off.
Worst is “disallowing” countries to buy Russia oil or nat gas and no plan for where to buy it since everywhere at capacity, thus price is up and up and up.
Well done Biden. Should have given the Poles the old f-16 and bombed the Russian convoys when they were entering Ukraine, in February. Done and done. Air Force advised that, but Biden appointees and Biden said No. and here we are, grinding away money and lives, letting PUtin do whatever he wants.
I said it early on in this war but the problem here partially is the US and western Europe thinking they are what they were 40 years ago. The world has changed. They don’t have nearly the power they once did. They’re nearly all states in decline.
Especially after divisive Obama who neutered the sect of state role, never investigated Iran nukes, let N Korea advance, Russia invade Crimea, did an executive order to attack Libya to help EU oil situation- which failed, let China steal iP and advance, Benghazi debacle & coverup, and took 9 months and a huge confrontation to finall approve the Biden attack before it would never work.
Worst foreign policy president in centuries.
And so is Biden.

What’s a neocon and why would listing a bunch of failed foreign policy stuff Obama/Biden did, make someone a neocon. What does that make Obama and Biden then, since they did those things?

They've said Lithuania is not a country. It's also quite clear that their issue with Ukraine is not NATO but the mere fact of their existence.
