Pomona is not “half decent”. It is far above UCLA, Rice, Wash U., Emory, etc and harder to get admitted into than Williams is. Colgate and Pomona are nothing alike. You don’t seem to know much about how these schools compare so your opinion means little.

Admits rates don't mean anything. Pomona is a fine school but the schools mentioned are certainly comparable. To suggest otherwise is silly.

I do not buy this. In this day and age if a school did that they’ll would be in the news.

Pretty sure it is NOT an STA parent. OP said they looked up the social media of all kids at 4 different schools. If it is a parent, I guess they have a right as much as anyone to ask these questions if it is true.

I don't think it is an STA parent either but if it is they a right to ask and you can't ask these types of questions at school. You just can't.
