First, they fooled the MPD and US Capitol Police in early 2021 with phony law enforcement IDs:

In early 2021, Metro Police did a search of Taherzadeh's unit when a person from a surrounding apartment building made a call reporting a sighting of firearms in his 3-bedroom corner unit through an open window.

Video footage viewed by DailyMail.com showed members of the Metro Police Department and United States Capitol Police searching Taherzadeh's apartment on the 7th floor. They saw firearms in plain sight that are illegal to own in the District of Columbia, but were provided with credentials that seemed to convince them that Taherzadeh was an agent permitted to own such weapons.

Then Tishman-Speyer - believing they were legit law enforcement - gave them full access to the building's security systems and resident PII:

According to sources, the Tishman Speyer-owned and operated building cooperated with Taherzadeh and Ali believing the guise that they were federal agents. Building management, the sources allege, provided the duo with access to surveillance cameras, including codes to access all doors in the building and a list of personal information about a number of residents.

A former security guard for the building, however, said that an overnight concierge would call down Ali and Taherzadeh when things happened in the building to show them surveillance footage.

Ali and Taherzadeh provided the all-access door code to several residents, another source confirms.

Tishman Speyer gonna have a huge lawsuit coming from the other residents who weren’t involved in this.

Here’s another photo of the FBI raid yesterday - YIKES.

Why? What did the building do that was wrong?

Anonymous wrote:Yeah, I don't understand how these guys were NOT paying rent on the units. Tishman-Speyer just wouldn't give these guys free apartments without formal payment arrangements with the USG. It doesn't happen like that.

So someone within Tishman-Speyer was likely in on the scheme, either working with these guys directly or getting paid to look the other way. The leasing office would try to rent these units out, unless told by someone at TS central offices that they were not to be leased.

This goes a lot higher than just inept security guards at the apartment development.
and especially Penthouse units with special access to pools according to one of the articles.

So many male law enforcement officers took these guys' word at face value without so much as a second glance or an ounce of skepticism. Only one DHS employee/witness bothered to search for these guys in their internal database, and even then they accepted their excuse of "we are undercover, so we are not listed in the database."
agree.

Thank you. I'd rather read USA Today than a report by Catherine Herridge, CBS. Her report had nothing that was not in the affadavit. Did she bother to contact anyone involved?

This is crazy. It sounds like these guys were surveilling the entire apartment building, both with cameras and electronically. Who else other than the Secret Service agents lived there?

The USPIS inspector was also informed by residents that TAHERZADEH and ALI
have video surveillance set up in various parts of the apartment complex.
Furthermore, TAHERZADEH and ALI represented to residents at the apartment complex that they
can access, at any time, the cellular telephones of residents of the apartment complex. These
residents stated that they believe that TAHERZADEH and ALI had access to personal information
of all the residents at the apartment complex.

Wow. I read that, too, about how they apparently had the entire building under surveillance. Did they have cameras in apartments? Lordy, they could used some of that as blackmail, I bet.

Yeah, but the real story is the USPS iCOP social media surveillance program was authorized to spy on ALL Americans Social media posts - ongoing and continuous- despite the Intelligence Community's obvious willful action to then IGNORE the reports provided

What Bigger HINT do you need that the real end game ISNT'T "protecting America" its just spying on America... and pick and choose what you do with the Intel once you have it based on - WHO IS IN POWER

Same with DHS' very creation- post 9/11 " protect the Homeland " BUT look at what DHS did under Trump and who it was Run by under someone like Trump

And they are still at it. You have no idea how many sociopaths were hired to work for DHS in the last decade , how supervised they are ( or not ) and what kind of malicious activity they are up to against maybe an- Ex Boyfriend or former spouse or girl they are stalking because they were turned down.

a REAL problem in DC[

Or a neighbor who stood up to their bullying in a personal capacity, not an official capacity by any stretch. You don't need to be a genius to figure out people who have intelligence capacities are in a unique position to screw over people they don't like, if they want to and have no scruples.

You mean like reporting someone to a Fusion Center ?

In other words, the 21st century version of reporting that " I suspect she associates with member of the Communist party " when all she did was tell you to F'off and go back to your wife

Or opening an " assessment" on someone because they too you to court for stalking

And THEY NEVER PAID ANY RENT ON SEVERAL OF THE APARTMENTS.

A former representative of Crossing DC who worked at the building since the start of Taherzadeh's lease confirmed that none of the units were being paid for at any time. When asked why they were not paying rent on the units, the individual responded with one word: 'Government'.

The Daily Mail article says one guy is known to work for Pakstani intelligence, and they had Iranian visas.

So bizarre. The government, particularly the Secret Service, quite famously pays rent in the properties it occupies.

Yeah, the secret service had to pay Trump hotels to protect the Trumps. So they did know.

The best example was having to rent a basement apartment just for its bathroom because Javanka wouldn't let them use one of the six inside their house!

You really think this started under the Biden administration? There were a lot of questions about the secret service under trump. This seems to have gone on for a while and the secret service officers were not rejecting the gifts. The secret service was not involved in the arrest even though they can make arrests. Wonder how many secret service agents are involved?

There have been issues with the Secret Service for about a decade now. It's clear there is a problem with their hiring and vetting. I posted before that there should be a housecleaning and there absolutely should. Something is very wrong with their culture.

This is and should be beyond politics.

There are folks in the current Administration that obviously require protection. And I don't like Mike Pompeo, or John Bolton, and let's not get started on Trump. But we know Iran is still seeking retribution for the killing of Solemani and we know they are all targets. Politics aside, they are former federal officials targeted for their decisions while they were federal officials. And the Secret Service appears to be in shambles.

There was a thread a couple of months ago about USSS uniformed officers in John Bolton’s driveway. Then there was an article in WAPO saying the USSS is spending two million dollars per month to protect Pompeo from Iranian assassins and now we learn possible Iranian agents are paying rent for and partying with USSS agents and uniforms. This sounds like an episode of “Homeland.”

Yup, that thread is here: https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1032700.page

I thought it was the Jews, according to a previous poster? So confused!

Ah... the telltale anti-semitism attack as a defense.

What was said was, " the Mossad... Israel "

Honestly, have the Iranians EVER been caught engaging in espionage in the United States ? Ever ?

Funding silicon valley start ups - Check
Living it up in Tehrangeles - Check
buying up real estate on Wisconsin Ave in G'town- check

trying to infiltrate the USSS- ummmm , no

Now, Israel otoh, has been caught engaging in espionage in the USA

Fact

What on earth are you talking about. Of course there have been multiple instances of Iranian agents being arrested here for spying. Or charged but never arrested before they fled the country

Anonymous wrote:These guys had many layers of "cover" to make them seem legit. From the arrest affidavit:

While in TAHERZADEH’s primary residence, Witness 3 observed that TAHERZADEH possessed FLETC training certificates and a Private Identity Verification card, commonly referred to as a “PIV card,” which TAHERZADEH uses to access a laptop that is labeled with a “DHS” symbol. Witness 3 stated that he/she saw a federal logon privacy notice when TAHERZADEH logged onto his DHS computer.

Witness 5 recalled that TAHERZADEH had a PIV card, which he believes said DHS on it, and that the background on TAHERZADEH’s computer had “DHS information.” TAHERZADEH showed Witness 5 an HSI badge and special police officer credentials. Witness said that TAHERZADEH identified himself primarily as DHS/HSI, but he carried the special police officer badge on his person more often. Witness 5 has seen DHS/HSI on TAHERZADEH’S ballistic vest as well.

To create phony PIV cards designed to look like that issued by DHS + adding bogus federal government log-in screens to your laptop smells like something state-sponsored. It's a very sophisticated effort - where would you even get this made? They made sure to flash this stuff in front of multiple federal law enforcement that lived in the building to add credibility to their background story. That's really good tradecraft.

These guys were really playing the long con here and doing it well. It seems that they blabbed a bit too much and that's what piqued the curiosity of a skeptical USPIS inspector who followed up on their gut instinct.

It is very easy - you can just move from one picture to another pretending it is a login. The PIV card does not have to be real or working, and the login can be just pictures. I can do it at home and I am not even a programmer. I can see regular people falling for the con but USSS agents should know better. They are too greedy to pay attention.
