I mean, I live in FCC, the one street-town, so Old Town almost feels like Manhattan

When some of those buildings went up in that corridor, the staff at the US Attorney's office and the other fed offices in the same building used to talk about live drug deals going on visible from their windows lol. The streets are still off limits during rush hour for heaven's sake because it was a known drug corridor and people on their way home would use the street to make their buy as they were heading south. If you're going to BS, at least try to be a teensy bit believable.


Jesus, how old are you? The USAO (and EDVA more generally) moved over two decades ago to Carlyle. If you're going to try to call out "BS" at least let us know what century you're talking about.

I can pretty much guarantee that nobody is stopping anywhere in FCC to make their drug buys on their commute home.

On the other hand, back in the 1960s and 70s FCC was a known biker gang and drug haven. Fun fact!

2003-2017. I think I only ever once saw a drug exchange, but not sure, that was up in front of the homes. There were a few stabbings. Whatever. The area was mostly dead.
