His arrogance at requiring songs he produced resulted in a less exciting show.

It was an ode to Dre and his contributions to music, he literally put LA on the hip hop map and produced/ discovered some of the biggest names in music. It was a love story to LA and to the man and his music. He produced Eminem, 50 and MJBs biggest hits (those two songs aren’t my faves either but they were her biggest hits). He also discovered Kendrick Lamar, Em and 50.

So amazing how they put this together in so little time.

Best halftime show ever. I’d pay good money to see Dre, Snoop, Em on tour . They were fantastic

+1. PP is an idiot and has no taste if she thinks KL sucks and 50 cent was amazing. The only good thing about 50’s performance was when he struggled to get up from hanging upside down bc it was hilarious.

Man, that halftime show really brought me back to my childhood, when culture had decayed and popular music was terrible.

Two 40 year olds in my house and we loved it. All those songs came out when we in late HS and college. So many good memories. Still D.R.E. brings me right back to all the parties. I was an athlete in college and Lose Yourself was the best pump up song. And I totally remember being a kid and seeing people do the East side/West side hand signs at school in the 90s. I grew up in an area along the 95 corridor and went to school with a mix of kids from the city and the suburbs. It was funny to see the suburban kids try to act cool and be like "East siiide"
