Why on earth is Congress involved in a dispute between two private entities?

The House Oversight Committee is investigating the entire Redskins/Commanders organization, because Congress has authority over any entity given an antitrust exemption.

VA was never truly in contention. Always used as leverage, nothing more. Every 15 years or so.
