Yeah, well, to be fair, women lose the upper hand around 30 and have pretty much no power after 35 and certainly not at 40. My brother and his friends don't even message women that look older than 30 unless it's just for getting laid.

I have no problem with 5’9. Even 5’7. What I have an issue with is if someone says they’re 5’8 or 5’9 when they are actually 5’5. If you’re a short king, be a short king.

Let’s turn the tables. I’m 120 lbs. I display that I have an athletic build, I include full body pictures, and if someone asks, I say I’m 120 lbs because it’s true. Im not pretending to be 100 lbs. Most guys probably wouldn’t take issue if I were 130 lbs if I accurately represented myself. They would take issue if I said I was 120 lbs but was actually 160 lbs and used 10 year old pictures.

Another mid 40s woman here: I'm 5'8, with hills 5'11. I did date and really fell badly into a man who was 5'10-5'11 (he stated 6' on profile but I could never wear hills and not mount over him, so I guess he lied a little).
It really depends how shorter man looks like: if he's just thin and not muscular, it gives me a sense that he's "smaller" than myself. If a man is bulky (not fat, but just muscular, has wide shoulders and is confident), then I still feel like he's bigger and is "protected" and can be cuddled by him in bed. This is sexual, nothing I can do about it. The 5'11 guy I really fell into was bulky and very strong. I also liked how we could do it standing, since we were the same level at pelvic area with each other....

I dated after him 6'3 and 6'2 guys, and didn't fall so much into them . Sex was great with both, but just not as much connection intellectually and spiritually.

Connection and personality can make up for height somewhat, but only if I feel like a shorter man is till "bigger" than myself in the bedroom.

This is true. I am the son of an IMF economist who didn’t miss and opportunity to cheat on my mom. And he is a narcissist too. He is a great dad did and still does everything for his kids, but he is a horrible husband…

Some men are only dating women in mid 40s.

The divorced men in my circle are not looking for women who can still have children. They are done. They are dating 45 year old women.

I have a 49 year old relative who is dating a 48 year old man with a 6 pack. He is done having children. Both of them have children in high school.
