Yes it is.
Well, maybe for you? Ours was supposed to start transitioning people back in January starting with supervisors but I know zero people who have actually received the 30-day notice yet. Which makes me think they are waffling.

we already know the reasons for coming back to the office will be bogus. Once leadership has made the determination it will happen regardless of all our hoopla. So three options:
1) get your mind right to return
2) find another agency that is allowing more flexibility, or
3) resign from federal service and find a job in another sector that will allow for 100 percent virtual work
a 4th option for those eligible--retire!
Sure, and the bolded is what we're doing in this thread. People want to know which agencies are allowing more telework so they can either pursue or avoid those jobs. It's not hoopla, it's information sharing.

Like for real - what do get out of not listing the name of the agency? Useless information.
? What would you do with that info?
Keep informed of the different agency timetables. Now with the earliest State return of Jan. 3rd, the earliest USAID return is Feb. 3rd.
It will all change in coming weeks though. I wouldn’t take these dates seriously.

Plus, zero details on what it would look like when we do return. Back to status quo? More telework? Staggered days? Who knows because we certainly haven’t been told a thing.
IRS counsel? This is what we were told. I am getting full remote unsolicited contacts from private sector jobs. Good luck to them if they want people in 3 days like our old contract.
Yes, IRS Counsel.
