This was dumb and embarrassing and wrong but we don’t even know if he was planning on voting for his dad. Maybe he didn’t want his family thrown into this chaos

For the person that cited the law -- he did not vote. You have to vote to trigger that law.
There is no attempt crime for that law.

He presented a valid ID. That’s not trying to cheat. LOL
“The young man presented identification but was ineligible to be registered due to his age “
So the system worked. And a child told the truth.
The feigned outrage here is breathtaking.
Now he should go buy a gun and get on a plane with it! If he’s stopped, he can just say he’s testing the system!
or try to break into DoD servers just to "test the system".

This has got to be satire. So much sanctimony, so little self-awareness.

And imagine the reaction by the left mocking people fue trying to make an issue out of it.
The left has more of a moral conscience than the right. That’s why Al Franken stepped down and Gym Jordan is still in office.
The GOP demonstrates this every day.

Uh, is this your spin? It wasn’t a good thing. It was illegal.
Did you read the article? The Virginia code actually doesn’t cover the scenario of using a legitimate ID to vote but you’re underage or haven’t registered. It’s not illegal. But it won’t get you anywhere either, hence he was turned away.
