I never got more attention from men then when I was 140 lbs at 5'5. I prefer myself at a slimmer weight so I'm about 120 now. After a particularly indulgent holiday season a couple years ago my weight crept up to around 130 and there it was again with way more male attention and stares and such. I have to keep my weight down for job related reasons but yeah... definitely seems to me that men like women at a somewhat higher weight.

Would a guy still date me? And say, ok she just needs to get in the gym?
Or would he say ew no she’s fat?
Depends on the guys but a lot of guys would not say or think “she needs to go to the gym” at all. Good me exist (they just don’t often comment on DCUM)
A guy is not bad because he doesn't want to date someone who is overweight.
I didn’t say a guy was “bad” for thinking somebody needs to go to the gym. Defensive much?
And I would absolutely not want to be with somebody who acted like he was so gracious to overlook 15lbs and think that it meant the gym is in order. It’s douchey and entitled. I have a husband who understands that he doesn’t get to have an opinion on my weight. Crazy, right? Like I said, good men exist.
(Although I think gyms are seriously underrated and if somebody can afford it and they should go! With the understanding that it’s for mental and physical health and unlikely to make you lose weight)

You're already demonstrating that you don't have much knowledge of health/fitness if you think gym time is the way to lose 15 instead of diet. If anything, the gym should help you build muscle to remain at 130 and look great at that weight.

Most of men's attraction is towards- whatever other men will think is cool.
