Meh. I found her funny and refreshing at her peak. I love her recipes. But the past few years I find her to be annoying, excessively attention-seeking, and ostentatious, not to mention kind of mean-spirited (that's a hard image to shake...seems like someone who has made her mistakes and has authentically changed would turn off the attention seeking behavior and stick to cookbooks and family stuff, but she is nowhere near doing that, and I guess that's fine, but I find it kind of hard to reconcile).

Anyway. Who cares.

I still follow her but find myself reacting as more "cringe!" than "cool!" lately. Will continue to follow her food stuff though.

Um, DP but I think the people who think celebrities and their PR people are actually looking at DCUM are the insane ones. The only case where that was actually true was the Kane show drama and he was a local DC person so it made sense.

I don't get her popularity and why she's given so much power. And yes, she's been handed a lot of power in social media.

If people ignore her or don't follow her, then she loses her power.
