Really? I heard all the talented freshman went to other schools because they didn’t want to play for the then-coach KM. Even some legacy/sibling lax players decided against attending Visi because they didn’t want to play for KM. Visi’s freshman class is weak, weak, weak - just like it’s senior and junior classes. Soph class may it for Visi lax-wise right now.

Visi wont have the talent they typically do (due in large part to 4 years of KM who families/players wanted to avoid), but they still have fair amount of talent. SR is likely the team to beat this year, but they are replacing several good players as well, so it will be an interesting year.

Visi only has 3 committs combined in their junior and senior classes. They barely have enough good players for a first string.

SR is team to beat for sure.

PVI rec dad coach guy is not high and will defeat SSSAS and BI

Agree on PVI, but does any one see SSSAS holding its own with a national schedule?

STAB played great with the hand they were dealt but let's bring some perspective:
- They didn't have to play SPSG
- They were in the weakest bracket. STAB's competition was a combined 2-7 with the PA team having the greatest (negative) goal differential.
- They lucked out by being in the largest bracket which was the only one that took the 1st & 2nd place finishers.

Nice try to spin it, but STAB played the same teams at the eventual champ SPSG in their division and lost to the eventual runner-up in the tournament. They did what they should have done with what was before them, as compared to the other area teams. Since this is a DMV forum, I will give you that they aren't really DMV any more than the Baltimore teams, so not sure you can count them for the area best, and they don't have the same schedule as the locals for the Spring.
