According to poster on Websleuths, there are at least 2 search and rescue aircraft flying search patterns in Utah right now. One by Capitol Reef NP, the other in Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City.

The only way he's "behaving like he has something to hide" is by keeping his mouth shut, i.e., exercising his Fifth Amendment rights. That is almost certainly very much in his self-interest right now.

To be fair that police report suggests it wouldn’t be out of character to behave quite impulsively.

True. But he's not helping himself by behaving like he has something to hide.

How can both be true??

Yep. The pp obviously doesn't know or realize how many bipolar people or those with mental disorders are out there.

I have depression and anxiety but was taughby my parents to "perform" in public or in front of a camera.

I think s/he was being sarcastic.

Always blame the husband / boyfriend, even without evidence.

New statement from the boyfriend's lawyer. It seems that things are starting to pick up speed:

Twitter is guessing "bipolar," which makes sense given the incident.

Yep, that is what I am guessing too. Bipolar makes people do things when it is in the manic stages. I am always afraid that my friend with a less intense bipolar is going to be killed by her severely bipolar boyfriend.

You can tell from the shape it doesn’t begin with a b and that it ends w a y. It’s anxiety (though of course they may actually have had bipolar.) borderline plus drugs of abuse seem more likely to me.

The second paragraph says “to regain control of their anxiety”. Not sure why the didn't block the word anxiety there.

If you click on the scrib link and read it, the word anxiety is not redacted.

And, it's scary that neither are medicated.

Who knows? They could have had a fight and she may have run off and gotten lost or left him, or he pushed her a too hard and that was that.
