Only a lengthy process if they choose to make it so. Believe me, refunds can be processed quickly if they have the money and want to refund it.

I was told they are processing refunds for those who purchased credits, in alphabetical order. This is a lengthy process and may take some time

Didn’t you get your money refunded? There’s a difference between a failing company trying to eke out a solution, even if it fails, and a scam.

NCS. STA and presumably any school that has students boarding. SSSAS did before covid and will again next year once the construction that includes the dining hall is complete.

It was a good solution during the height of covid, but I'm surprised schools hung on to them afterward. Our school went back to a caterer last year.

Yay lunch is all cheap carbs and cheese. I couldn't believe their "side" was not even always applesauce but more often a huge snack bag of veggie chips. What were we paying for?!

Our school uses Wholesome Food Services. I'm not sure how they get away with using "Wholesome" in the name, as it's regular fast casual options in the area like Chick-Fil-A, Moby Dick, Pete's Pizza, etc., but if your kid likes those places then they'll like it. I'm pretty sure the menu items are the regular sizes of things, so cost is $10-18/day depending on what your kid orders. Not sure if the vendors have smaller sizes for elementary schools.

Never heard of them? Where are they based?
