They should split as the relationship is toxic
Entirely possible. But would it have messed her up for life if they hadn’t had TV producers asking them questions about it and provoking discussion of it constantly for eight years?
They are stuck between a rock and a hard place:
Leave and try to heal and move on, and have no income. They aren’t college educated nor do they have any real job skills.
Stay and keep steady income coming in, but incur mental deterioration from the constant reminders.
Coming from a poor background, what do you think they are likely to do? Especially now with two mouths to feed?
Money was raised for them to go to college, and then they chose not to go. They could have been completely self-sufficient by now. Too bad.
Ding ding. This plus they’ve been making mid six figures for almost a decade. In-state college would have been peanuts and Michigan has a ton of good options. They could have set themselves up for life if they had someone who was really in their corner advising them.
Or if they were using their own head

They have that children's clothing line they could really continue to build up. Tyler is actually hands on designing looks too.
It to be fair, the only reason there is any following of the clothing company is because of the show and social media platform. Without it, no chance they’d sell even enough to cover costs.
