Not true. Social security taxes and trust fund bond interest fund current SS benefits. When SS taxes exceed benefits, the excess goes to the Treasury, but the Treasury issues a bond to the SSA trust fund for the amount of the excess. So nothing to do with federal income tax.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Social security is funded separately, BBB has no effect on SSI taxes that fund SSI. The BBB doesn't really save that much in taxes for most of us; it does for the rich. But, what it does do is balloon the deficit and make social security insolvent even faster.
The Tax Policy Center, which provides nonpartisan analysis of tax and budget policy, projected the bill would result next year in a $150 tax break for the lowest quintile of Americans, a $1,750 tax cut for the middle quintile and a $10,950 tax cut for the top quintile. That's compared with what they would face if the 2017 tax cuts expired.

The tax cuts of the rich mean that our government will go bankrupt much sooner than expected. So don't count on your Medicare or Social Security.
You know that social security and income taxes get combined and spent together, right?

It’s going to devastate rural healthcare. Nursing homes will shut down. Hospitals will shut down. The ones that don’t will have to compensate somehow for the loss of revenue. Increased prices. But the MAGA cult will screech about the hysterical libs until it all
comes true. Then they will find a way to blame the Democrats. Bc frankly at this point I just think they are dumb as rocks.

Remember the breadlines in the Depression? No? Not born yet? I wasn't either. Google it, kids.
That is coming. Starvation right here in the richest country in the world.
People dying in hospital parking lots, once again.
But hey, say the Tech Bros, those poor people are expendable. AI is coming to take over most jobs. We don't need those leeches, say the Tech Bro Billionaires.
Despicable does not begin to describe the GOP who lied about this bill and then are going to stick it to their constituents -- after the midterms, of course!!
Heartless. Cruel. Unconscionable. But, hey, the TechBros have no conscience! They have no empathy, as Elon Musk has said over and over again.
Empathy is for suckers, say these despicable people.
Deplorable. That's the right term for them. Utterly deplorable.
We have the fattest poor people in the history of earth. What more are we supposed to do?
Apparently the GOP plan is to kill them off.
And they’re all so proud to be Christian.

My parents went through the Great depression as children.
I am 100% convinced Republicans want it to happen again to kill off as many poor Americans as possible. Already killed a million during the pandemic, sounds like they want to kill off a few million more.
Some of you have literally lost your minds.
Well, time will tell, won't it?
Nothing will be stopped for the next 3+ years.
It’s already obvious. Your “we’re all gonna die” hysteria is over the top.
