We have a family friend (not even a kid - in her 60s) who started posting some weird, nonsensical stuff a few times a day. Nothing hateful or harmful. Just things that didn’t make sense grammatically and/or posts that were random thoughts with no context. Every post had several exclamation points with various number of spaces between each. Her family saw this along with similar behaviors in person and put her in a psychiatric hospital. She received the treatment she needed and is fine now. Nothing she did/said was remotely as bad as what Trump does/says on the daily.

This is beyond ridiculous. Biden had a bad debate, and it was a constant news story on every platform/channel until he was forced out of the race. But Trump does something far more concerning every. single. day. and it barely makes the news cycle, if at all. Imagine the outrage if Biden was up all night posting hundreds of times.

Honestly, I would be even more exhausted by all of this if I were a republican. The mental gymnastics required to spin everything he does and defend the indefensible. I would be so ready for the party to finally ditch him and get back to some level of sanity/normalcy. I would be so embarrassed and pissed off that this absolute numbskull was able to high jack my party.

I am more of a freeze in fight/flight/freeze situations, but I totally get PP is saying. I am the one who posted that the finger wagging was worse than his words.
