If he lies to FBI that may be a US crime.

Assume parents got him legal help.

His uncle claims Ribe has a girlfriend. Wonder if she or her friends have seen him have a temper?

Good Lord, the girl drowned. Not all men are rapists. He may be ta cheater, but it’s wild to think he’s been seen willingly with her on video all over the resort within intent to harm her.

We don't even know that's he a cheater. Just because they were hanging out doesn't mean anything actually happened.

You’d be ok with your partner looking like he did in the pics/video? And alone on a beach?

Drunk, with his arm around someone? Meh. I didn't see any effort to kiss, hold hands, or grope. Did you?

Um..his arm was completely around her shoulders.

DP
The security video showed holding hands, for support of course.

the footage of them heading down the path toward the beach, they are fully arm-in-arm -- each around the other, equally

What serious girlfriend would be okay with her guy going on a spring break trip with another guy to begin with?

YOU pp, casting aspersions everyone to avoid accepting the mere possibility that Sudiksha maybe could have exercise better judgment

YOU are wrong once again

The multiple translators part made sense to explain discrepancies in stories he told. It’s good he is cooperating and talking to her parents and friends.

Swimming is not part of VA public school curriculum. That is entirely on the family to teach.

VA public school grad here too. Arlington to be specific.
I had to swim in 4th grade and again in 10th grade for PE.
AND forced to take showers (so cold). The PE teacher checked us all off exiting the shower stalls - it affected our grade.
Of course, it was hard to pull on tight jeans with wet skin.

Swimming has unfortunately been remote ved from most public school and university curriculums because certain demographics have a history of being denied access to pools and thus did not know how to swim. So it was considered embarrassing or derogatory to include it. I had to pass a swim test to graduate from college (I went to a large public flagship). You had to swim one length of the pool without stopping and tread water for 5 minutes. You had to pass the test once before you graduated. If you couldn't pass, the school offered free swim lessons until you could pass (and it wasn't considered a big deal if you needed the lessons). I graduated in the late 90s. Now they no longer have the swim test because students complained it was racist.

On the flip side, my private elementary school actually added swimming to the PE curriculum 10 years ago once they built an indoor pool on campus (as well as how to ride a bike). These lessons start in 3rd grade. If you don't have a swim suit or googles (or a bike for the bike lessons), they will get those for you, no questions asked. I wish all schools were like this.

I believe the other man who has been named.

Just 2 20 something dudes taking an all-inclusive trip to the DR?

Well they were college students. The guy from Iowa is a senior in college (on the older side, but he is a senior)

It has a typo or mistake. It says she left the beach with him. She did not and to my knowledge was never seen on video again.

Not that weird IMO. Most tend to go with larger groups but definitely not all.
