I can’t believe the stupidity of small businesses and non fed people, they didn’t bother to think that if their clients lose jobs then they lose business, but here we are. I have a couple of relatives in Baltimore who voted for Trump and their business sales are in the dump. I have zero sympathy.
Btw, I am not a Fed but I have 2 brain cells to figure out that pretty much everything in DC is tied to the Federal government.
If only you and each one of us who perhaps still has two brain cells before last election could have each just convinced ONE person who was leaning for team orange, think of how much we could have helped instead of calling their thinking stupid. Maybe a lesson for each one of us going forward --lets work on trying to show those on the other side the light.
I have a friend with a trans daughter, who voted for Trump because she thought her daughter chose to transition because of LBGTQ friendly elementary stories. She was willing to accept a gay daughter but not one who chose to transition. I tried to convince her that a vote for Trump would do nothing to help her now transitioned daughter. I even tried to lead with a vote for Trump is a vote for chaos. I like living in a non-chaotic country.
Her daughter no longer speaks to her.
These aren't bright people, they don't listen to reason, they are ruled by fear, not logic, think personal morality can and should be legislated, and they aren't into seeing the light.
