I put France on my watch list when Macron and his wife went to the theater over the weekend in a bid to encourage the French to go out despite the virus.

JFC. One good thing, this whole situation has shown us where our weaknesses are and what we need to be prepared for if something much, much worse happens.

One big weakness is our diplomacy. If you are always a jerk to everyone it will come back to bite you.

If she flew back a couple weeks ago and caught it from community spread that long ago, they're in big trouble. If she just flew back it's harder to tell.
She probably connected in California for her flight to Australia. May have picked it up there too, or on the plane.

Following up, 53 people were at a party with the (tested positive) Australian woman, and the 13 who are likely positive are just from “her group” of 18. That number doesn’t include others at that party or anyone else that she may have come in contact with. The party was 9 days ago.

From CNN's Lauren Fox
Rep. Louis Gohmert, a Republican from Texas, was called by officials yesterday and was told he had been in proximity of the individual at the Conservative Political Action Conference who tested positive for coronavirus, according to the congressman's aide.
According to the aide, the doctor told him that if he was Gohmert, he’d go back to Washington and observe good hygiene.
Gohmert is choosing not to self-quarantine.

One would think we would be able to make our own antibiotics for national security reasons. Pretty dumb we allow all these companies to send manufacturing of this stuff overseas. Antibiotics isn’t like sending a furniture factory to China.
