Thank you. People trying to tapdance on the grave of vrsc this year is gross and so unrealistic in what they are demanding for the teams to look like year 1 of a huge change. A lot of the teams are performing just fine and other below expectations of parents but still not horrible unless all you care about is wins and nothing else.

Agreed. People on here trolling have no lives. The teams are not bad and seeing training at Rev vs the club my other kid plays at they'll only get better. I wish my other kid would have let us move them this year as well but they wanted to stay at Loudoun for the coach for another year. They are happy so whatever but my Loudoun kid is not getting the same level of training or even the same amount of days of training and it shows.

None, maybe 1. For highschool ages they've beat a combo of TSJ, Skyline and SYC - they're playing the easiest part of their schedule but doubt they'll be top of the table once they start playing MD, PA and NJ teams. Century, Beadling, Keystone and SJEB will be better at most age groups, then you have to throw in a couple Armour, Celtic, Real NJ, and Coppermine.

How does a team make champions league?

FOR ALL CLUBS: The Champions Cup Finals at IMG this year will include FOUR (4) non-Champions Cup teams at U14, U15, U16, U17, and U19. These four teams will be invited to attend the event by the GA following the Winter Showcase. Invitations will be based on:

Performance in last year’s playoffs (U14 performance last year applies to the U15 team this year). - Not applicable for VRSC
Performance in regular season play through December 10. - only opportunity to earn a spot
Performance at Winter Showcase if applicable (attendance at Winter is NOT required). - Not applicable for VRSC

why not applicable for winter?

VRSC teams are attending the Winter Showcase. It’s open to any U15+ teams.

Also, the term “champions league” in GA is not what ECNL calls champions league. GA champions league is a separate tournament for clubs based on last year’s standings. In ECNL it is the end of season playoff for top teams. GA also has an end of season playoff.
