This is why the really talented kids go to private schools and also play for highly visible Clubs.
This is accurate. Zero college coaches are going to watch a Woodson HS lacrosse game. They need to see a player perform against they type of competition they would likely face in college.

final
3-3 towards end of 1st
11-6 at half
First team to score over 6 goals on Robinson.
Curran had his starters in until the last second, including yelling to have his starting attackman take a shot with 3 seconds left

Most of the players never touched lacrosse stick before high school. Each team realistically only expects to be competitive in about 3 games all season. But they work hard and take pride in playing for their schools. There’s about a minute left in double OT of a hard-fought game on Annandale’s senior night. The winning goal is nothing to write home about, but what happened afterward certainly is. Please watch until the end and keep your eyes on #17 in white.

The difference in skill in the Patriot League between the top 3 teams and the rest of the league is really significant. It doesn’t feel like the gap is as big for any other sport…
I want to second this sentiment. I understand that public schools don’t have the flexibility to rearrange the districts but it really is too bad that schools that can barely field a lax team have to play schools where lax is their most popular spring sport. It’s terrible for everyone and it occasionally results in some very bad behavior on the part of the kids.

McLean looked sloppy
is that the final? I'm surprised it wasn't a bigger margin.
Their offense couldn’t hit the side of a barn tonight
Battlefield will kill McLean if they play like that on Saturday.
