Good question. AB will be around tomorrow to answer that question while announcing the field situation fix!

There is no "field situation".

Big announcement on it definitely coming tomorrow

Don’t be concerned with all these Loudoun coaches trying to stir up the NO FIELDS! hysteria.

If FCV loses access to Evergreen they will receive more field space from Loudoun parks and rec (likely out of LS’s allotment). That is explicit in the policy.

How is that in the policy? What does having access to a private field have to do with how Parks and Rec distributes fields? Someone posted that it was based off of the number of players, which for FCV is dropping.

Read the policy. Access to private fields counts against what the county otherwise would have allocated to the club.

AB recently stated that Loudoun should be allotting FCV the new fields at One Loudoun (under county construction now, two grass fields) because Bles is under construction next year. so, lose 1 field at Evergreen. lose 3 fields at Bles, and get 2 in return?

this type of math is why Reston failed. prepare for 6 teams per field. Or more if it rains, and they are all at Hanson turf.

The quote about getting more field space from Loudoun County is flawed. AB says there are fields aplenty. His big lie about the permanent field never materialized because TSJ simply doesn't want to make the big investment upfront (at least a few hundred thousand.). They just lost a huge sum of money in Reston with that failed facility and won't be making another one right now. The big lie of AB. Bastien said they will mostly be practicing on grass, not artificial turf. NEWSFLASH: The grass fields get closed everytime it rains The competitive teams need artificial turf to practic four days a week and FCV doesn't have it without shafting some teams..

Presumably because most of FCV’s current players will be playing for VRSC next season.

and coaches will be working there, too.
announced (formally) today.

Didn't someone say JH was moving there too? Isn't that why AB fired him? Or was that for something else I saw claimed in here?

You mean Jimmy but? nowhere to be seen since he got fired. Not many are upset about it tho.

Wasn’t there an earlier post showing JH coaching a U10 team at VRSC? Not our problem anymore.
