Whhhhhhy? Why would you do that to your child? I totally believe he wrote that script himself.

Wow—no comments from the SB at all.

Yep. Option school kids have another choice! Go to you neighborhood school. You don’t have to move with your school! Problem solved. Continue.

Have there been any people not associated with McKinley, Key, or ATS that have spoken against Proposal 1? Maybe the Barrett person kind of?

In all fairness to the McKinley crowd, it’s a ridiculous location for an option school. The school has the misfortune of being located in an area where its planning units can be easily reassigned, but for anyone not living close by it’s a very inconvenient location.

Right? Plenty of people will make the move and other people will fill the spots. It's really not that big of a deal for many people. Their kids will still get on and off at the same bus stop.

Have any of the McKinley parents mentioned that their alternative maps would ship off nearly half of their school? And that they actually hundreds more students by moving? Guess anyone outside of Madison Manor and Dominion Hills doesn’t count.

They mentioned that if they move schools VA Square will be "forced" east to Science Focus. Most people who live in Va Sq would consider that a good thing, but in No Move bizarro world that's a bad thing.

We all know they don't actually care about equity.

Except when it’s a crutch they can lean on. Love how the McKinley people are using equity—don’t move ATS to our neighborhood, South Arlington won’t be able to get to it!!

Yeesh. Everyone is going to move. No community will stay together 100%.
