So many folks on this thread use the term “D1” as all-encompassing for top-level talent. That is FAR from the case. The difference between D1 UNC/Northwestern/Duke/UVA vs. D1 Queens/American/Longwood/App State is like the difference between a pro athlete and an 8th grade athlete. Just because that goalkeeper is a D1 commit doesn’t mean she’s even remotely on the same level as those WC Eagles girls, who are all top 10 D1 commits. Same with Pride and Bull City.
She is a big 10 commit but a goalie cannot save an entire team, especially not against WC.
She gave up more than 10 goals in one game. Top GKs, even those not from WC, don't do that.
Can we please change the narrative around goalies? She got scored on 10 times. Additionally, the TEAM let WC get at least 10 shots off. It’s a team effort. Unless you were there to witness the effort, it’s just your opinion. Which stinks.

I won't speak for others; but, I am a crazy, bitter mom whose daughter got passed over by DI and top DIII programs.
Your self description would apply to 80% of the people who post on this thread.

Said like a parent whose kid is playing D3. Not only was what you said nastly, it's also wrong. Get a life.

Sort of like the Hammers in the U19, who are in the same pool with WC Eagles and NJ Grit.
Hammers GK is a D1 commit so I'm pretty shocked at the scores. But, yes, WC is destroying everyone as usual. It's so tiresome to watch.
