Why do you expect that? And Madison won’t be too worried the next time they play

I expect south lakes to beat centreville and also to once again give Madison all they can handle in 2-3 seed game in district tourney.

Anyone know what happened in the 2nd half of Oakton vs Centreville? Someone mention it was Oakton 9-8 at the half and then Oakton ran away with a 17-11 win. Halftime adjustments by Oakton or the wheels just came off for the Wildcats?

There were no real adjustments by either team at the half, but the Centerville defense’s focus on Oakton’s stars, left lanes for others to exploit. Also, #4 had an interception and score, and #11 had a crease roll shot that caught Centerville off guard. Oakton also won a majority of draw controls with #11 and #21 off the circle.

Oakton goalie also got hot in the 2nd half making a several saves and just like that score was 15-10. As someone previously mentioned need to be able to go the entire 50 minutes with Oakton. The only team that was able to stay relatively close was South Lakes but even then always a 3 or 4 goal lead.

Madison will play Oakton much closer next game. #3 was out most of the game with early injury and has since returned mid-week and the team will make adjustments. Should be a great rematch later in Districts and/or Regionals.

Keep pumping up your JMU girls and the rest of oakton.

Thank you!!!! Oakton G-lax girls are having one amazing season. OHS G-Lax families are super excited and we are all pumped up which you "all" might find obnoxious. Why would we not celebrate our team's success? They all work hard to get where they are. JMU girl is pretty amazing and I am pretty sure you want her on your school team, too. She worked really hard all these years to get where she is, thank you. I personally can not wait to cheer for her at JMU.

Yes, thank you for your support, we will "keep pumping our team" because it will too end. You all do know that this is HS??? I personally do not want the JMU girl or any girl to peek playing lacrosse at the HS level.

1) Battlefield
2) Woodson
3) West Potomac
4) South Lakes
5) Yorktown

Battlefield. The other 4 don’t come close to Battlefield.

Agree Battlefield. But would love to see Battlefield match-up against West Potomac or South Lakes.

We are short 2 games make it happen before Districts. 😂

I’m going with Battlefield as they already beat CVille. South Lakes as well. Tie between those two.
