I have been avoiding Jen's IG because of the fakey squee crinkled face shot she has pinned to the top of her feed.

Did listen to the pod clip with Amy, who is annoying for many reasons but also because she can't speak in a normal tone. She's like the Seinfeld low-talker.

Montgomery County has:

- 19 physical copies, all checked out, with 35 people on the wait list

- 25 audio books, all checked out, 191 people on the wait list

- 20 ebooks, all checked out, 145 people on the wait list

I'm sure DC, Arlington, Fairfax, etc are similar.

Your library only buys 1 copy of an ebook? I’m assuming literacy rates are low where you live because you clearly aren’t investing in it? The advantage of ebooks and audiobooks versus library bound physical books (which cost more then just grabbing a copy off amazon) is you can purchase way more copies of a book. So my library doesn’t have a single physical copy of awake but over 100 ebooks and audio. And demand is high for them.
