Well, if you're not going to look into it, sit back, relax, and enjoy the context.

I'm finding it hard to believe that your library has that many copies of... oh wait, do you live in Drooble Harbor, by chance?

I did see a copy at Target.

My library has 55 copies of the ebook and 85 copies of the audiobook and both have an over 4 month wait to get them loaned out.

No, but nothing would shock me at this point. If I was going to bet on what she's doing for the most possible clicks, it would be leaving Trevor for a woman. And given his love of all famous actresses everywhere and romcoms galore, that's not a big leap. Kind of a simple sidestep, actually.

That will never happen, but if it did, it would win all beard contests for infinity.

There was no way her team was going to let this book not be a best seller. In terms of how many books it actually sells, the only way to find out is from Nielsen Book Scan.

Bulk buying is happening for sure though because hello…. Jen has her own book club, so however many women subscribe to it, all got Awake. Who bought those books?

Jen H Inc.

Exactly!

There was a recent court case about this:

“For years, the New York Times maintained the facade that its bestseller list was compiled from comprehensive sales data, a trusted reflection of what readers were actually buying. However, faced with legal scrutiny, the publication was forced to admit the list was not the product of objective algorithms or sales metrics. Instead, it stands as a curated selection, influenced by the newspaper's editorial team's subjective decisions.”

People, she doesn't need sales, I'm sure she reveived plenty of money just to write this book. She needs to stick to writing cook books.
