I couldn't decide if I liked Rinna's hair or not. On the one hand, I was glad she FINALLY changed it up. But it looked kind of granny-gets-a-perm, too. She would look fabulous with a wavy lob (like Kyle's) or a sleek bob.

I'm not a Kyle fan but she looked the best I have ever seen her... not sure it's the hair making the difference- she looked different, her hard features looked softer, younger, you could see her upper teeth for once- so maybe her lip injections went down or she smiled more?... but I couldn't say for sure that she'd had anything done. I noticed her eyes for the first time every- pretty. Maybe hair plus weight loss? Microlift?

Dorit: still unlikeable and oddly aggressive for what an idiot she is. Maybe it's the 'new girl=competition' thing she has against Teddi.

I noticed the weird wording of Erika's statement as well "Tom seems very nice in the book..." and I could see Kyle and Teddi's wheels turning as Andy reviewed Erika's whole 'eviscerate' someone comments in the book with her... boasting/stating her ability to really go in for the kill if she wanted on a person... that's not a great quality for a friend to have.

YES! I'm so glad you brought this up. I kept staring at Kyle, wondering what it was that was different about her, but couldn't pinpoint it because it was so subtle. I finally decided it was something to do with her mouth because I realized she was smiling a lot more than normal. She really does look gorgeous - the hair, the smile, her eyes. If she wasn't so short and stubby, I'd love to look like her!

It reminds me of what my toddler would put on before we were headed to a party and I'd have to gently convince her to change out of it.

I think Erika is mentally ill. She has such distorted relationships. Her husband/wife relationship is the oddest thing ever. Her child/mother relationship with her own child and her own mother are both odd and uncomfortable to watch. She doesn't have friends. She pays her people to travel everywhere with her as this odd security blanket. I also think its fascinating what money can buy. She literally bought "a career". One that is meant for someone 25 years younger, 20 pounds thinner, and 10x as talented but she got it.

There's definitely some thought to the seating chart and I don't think it has much to do with clothing. To me, it always seems like the queen bees sit next to Andy and the ladies on the far end of the couch are the ones most likely to not be around next season.

LVP and Kyle are always right next to Andy. I do think it's set up that way purposefully - those with "seniority" sit close to him, and the newbies at the end. Same with the cheesy opening shot of the women holding diamonds? Perfume? I have no idea, but it's cheesy.

I was a teenager during the 80's, so right when Mellencamp was at his height (Jack & Diane, Little Pink Houses, Cherry Bomb, etc.). He was famous then... but now? Um, no.
