Obviously, Biden is not going to become stronger, quicker, and smarter over the next few months. The entire election now is 100 percent about Biden's fitness to be president. And he obviously does not have the cognitive or physical strength to make it through a second term when he will be 86.

Trump is now completely irrelevant. This race is all about Democrat's decision to nominate a rapidly declining 81 year old geriatric with dementia and possibly Parkinson's to be president for another four and a half years. Obviously Biden will lose, and so too will Democrats down ballot. It will be a catastrophic loss across the board. Trump will be president, and both the Senate and the House will be in Republican hands.

I don't know how you lose to someone like Trump and an insane GOP, but somehow Democrats have managed it. Some real brilliant leadership there.

The DNC ignored young people in their base so this is the result . Nobody wanted Hillary or Biden- old business as usual politicians

Biden campaigning from the basement only worked in 2020 because of COVID .

Which is exactly why you won't hear from Trump. He is smart enough to stay away from the chaos and bloodbath that Democrats have inflicted on themselves.

He is just sitting back and watching. Like the rest of us.

What’s incredible is two more debates are going to happen. He isn’t sitting back. Trump is traveling America and making stump speeches everywhere including inner cities and rural towns. That’s how you run a campaign. The shadow campaigns of the DNC don’t work

If Republicans were wise, they'd just kick back and play golf until November. Since that disastrous debate, the entire country is focused on Biden's cognitive decline and his capacity and fitness to serve as President. And since Democrats have decided to stick with Biden as their candidate for a second term - when Biden will be 86 - the glare of the media will be 100 percent fixed on Biden. Every gaffe, every unfinished sentence, every senior moment, every time Biden appears unaware of his surroundings will be magnified and highlighted and will be the lead story 24/7 until the election. That's it. That is the only narrative between now and November. And Democrats will lose badly because this is what they chose.

I don’t think Trump can help himself. No rallies? And Project 2025 gives the Ds a lot to talk about. As well as focusing on the damage from when Trump was president. Women are really ticked off too, that should not be discounted.

Trump won't be able to help himself, of course. But the greater story - every day - is that we presently have a President who is clearly unfit to do the job now, and yet is running for another 4 year term. That is the story. And nothing Trump says is going to change that - which is to his benefit of course. Trump and Republicans are going to get a free pass from here until November because the President of the United States has dementia or something similar and is running for reelection and Democrats are standing behind a geriatric who has no business being in the White House. That is the story. And not even Trump can change that. Nor should he want to. It will be a landslide victory for him regardless.

Well if you had a “normal” candidate perhaps you would be right. But we have been here before with Trump, he is not an unknown. And he is scary. A narcissist with absolutely zero self control. And he is almost 80 and can barely string coherent sentences together.

All true. And yet, he is very likely to beat Biden. Sorry state of affairs for Democrats, and we have no one to blame but ourselves. It should have been easy to beat Trump.

I have been playing around with an interactive electoral vote map and I can’t find a path for Biden with current trends.

A lot can change, and elections cannot be predicted with great accuracy when all factors are considered.

But the electoral map looks grim for Biden.

Biden needs both MI and WI and either PA or GA to win.

And not lose New Jersey and Virginia and Minnesota and New Hampshire and all the other states that are now in play after that disastrous debate.

There is no possible path for Biden to win in November. None. It's over. Democrats need a reality check and stop living in la la land.

Exactly.

Never before in American history have the people been asked to RE-ELECT a senile man who has already checked out.

Democrats will not recover.

Biden is a disaster at the top of the ticket as he himself is likely to lose to a very beatable opponent but I'm not convinced he will cause a wave of defeats down ballot. Dems still have political momentum in most places and races with the POTUS race being an exception.

The momentum can only build steam as people learn the horrible truth about Project 2025. If Drumpf wins, it will be a return to medieval times for so many people.i think too many people are underestimating the fact that few Americans want to live in a reality dominated by hate and the word NO.

It is high time we stop the fighting, ignore the elites and get back to the task of re-electing President Biden. One bad night should not negate 3 1/2 years of great success. His victory is all that separates this country from the renaissance and the dark ages!

Here is what I see happening 4 years down the road..........

If Trump wins in 2024 (and conditions are looking positive for that to happen now), he will govern for 4 years. There will be no "medieval times" or "revoking women's rights" or banning birth control or IVF or any of the other doomsday crap you people keep barking about.

The economy will improve, foreign relations will be better, lower class people will make gains and the US will be on a better footing.

Then, when the Republican candidate for 2028 is continually demonized and the left starts promoting their doomsday predictions again, we will pull these types of posts out and can rightfully say "You are full of $hit."
I will take great joy in doing so.

Trump cratered the economy, our allies were holding their breath, Putin and Xi could not believe their luck, the wealthy consolidated still more wealth at the expense of the poor and women’s rights were revoked as a direct result.

If you have to lie to yourself this much about what Trump is, maybe you’re not the Republican supporter you think you are. Just a suggestion.
