They are technically an independent board that was defacto run by Disney, all the time issuing bonds that said they were independent. You can't both be run by Disney and independent of Disney.

Do you understand that independence is a legally defined term and that anyone affiliated with Disney would need to meet that definition? The ignorance from the R's is stunning. But I'm not surprised.
