So there's effectively a pipeline to take mediocre young Republicans in the Ivy League and shepherd them into positions of prominence - JD Vance (Yale Law), Ron DeSantis (Harvard Law), Rafael Cruz (Harvard Law), Joshua Hawley (Yale Law), and a couple of others. These are fairly unremarkable men that have all the doors opened for them, from the Federalist Society to prestigious clerkships to introductions to prominent billionaires like Peter Thiel. Even introductions to suitable women who work for Big Law (Vance) or Goldman Sachs (Cruz). It's like the glided into their positions, but they were selected by the moneyed conservatives to be their vehicles and mediums for power - Mercer, Adelson, Walton, Griffin, Schwarmann and so on. Vance is clearly owned, and that's how one should regard him.

So, this is the first time I’ve seen the name of Vance’s own fund: Narya. I guess it’s just a coincidence that the name is an anagram for Aryan?
Likely a coincidence. Thiel likes using names from Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. He has frequently used names from there for his companies and businesses. Narya is one of the three Elven rings in LOTR (the ring of fire worn by Gandalf).
Here is a long list of the many companies either founded or financed by Thiel that bear names from LOTR:

How in God’s green earth can his wife even stand to be around him - much less sleep with him. Isn’t she terrified of the lesson her kids are taking from all this? Do you think she stays with him because she’s afraid of him being alone with the kids (not safety-wise but brainwashing). Do you think she fears for her own safety from MAGAs if she were to leave him? She can’t *possibly* be on board with his misogyny, can she???
No, not arranged. They were s all group members first year — lots of relationships bloom out of that. Friends of friends knew her at Yale and said she was nice and normal. But the reality is that when you go to those schools and work on those places, it’s a pretty small pool. I’m sure he seemed very sweet and adored her. He was a good project and she’s a hard worker that probably loves a project. Like many, many women she married and had a bunch of kids without really realizing what her husband was turning into. I’m sure she still cares for him in lotta of ways, sees parts of him we don’t see, and rationalizes the rest.
Ivy League climbers in an arranged marriage. She wears the pants and treats him like the bottom rung prole that he is. You’re assuming they sleep together, I’d bet they don’t.
