If the argument or opinion is based on facts and backed by logic, then enven if I don't agree, it can be a good discussion. Howver the troll just constantly spits out garbage. No fact and logic. The troll has been beaten 100 times here, but fact and logic don't do any good for the troll.

Graphic art responder most of the time seems to be saying don't feed the troll, or reminding us that troll is just trolling. Likely trying to remind us not to argue on troll's terms, since that's all troll wants anyway.
