Of course it didn’t get more press. The mainstream media exists for the pleasure of the GOP. Tip their hand that the GOP works with Russia (and others, probably, though I haven’t seen so much to that end)? Never.



It got press. My DH told me that the actress from the Big Lebowski who accused Biden of raping her moved to Russia. I think most people never remembered the rape allegations because they weren’t true. I definitely one who thinks “we should believe women,” but that story never had merit.


The reason this never worked as a “believe women” moment is that before she made allegations about Biden she had penned and published an essay which was basically a love letter to Putin. So sure I believed her— I believed every word in her essay was her real truth.

Would be nice for a good journalist to cover this as a teaching moment to the masses on media literacy and the importance of understanding propaganda and war in the computer age. Every citizen should understand they have a duty to defend against foreign media manipulation.
