Many marginalized groups of people are not savvy enough or aware enough or know enough English to use the map comment tool. FCPS is saying "look, no one from this Bull Run low income apartment building full of immigrants minds being moved, we only got a few comments but Walney Oaks really does not want to move--we are just responding to people's preferences!!". Its gross and disingenous.

Maybe they don’t care to be moved. I mean, they could just be content to live in America and have free income from our government and free school for their kids.

Nice attitude, Seema.

Seema knows what’s coming to Centreville. A bunch of low income housing in the next 5 years…..

At least they should have to completely recuse themselves from the entire process. Seema's big ol' house got moved in every scenario up until the most recent two.

Only if you are poor, or currently zoned for Cub Run ES. Walney Estates is currently Cub Run. So yes, Walney Estates is being moved to Westfield in both scenarios.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if she was the one who suggested moving Lees Corner instead of Bull Run in the last round of scenarios.

Interesting theory, I buy it.

If they are going to create a new split feeder, all of Brookfield west of Lees Corner road should be moved to Westfield.

The most recent scenarios were published and created a new split feeder at Brookfield-send half of Brookfield to Westfield and half to Walney Oaks. The Brookfield half now going to Westfield was a lower income area and WO. Walney Oaks had also been moved under previous scenarios with the first set of consultants and maybe the second set, not sure.

The maps were up like that for a few hours. Then suddenly they went offline for a minute and popped back up with Walney Oaks back to Chantilly, but now just the lower income part of Brookfield still sent to Westfield. They are much closer to Chantilly then WO. and WO was much closer to Westfield. Someone asked about it at a meeting and was told it was a "glitch" or something.

Whole situation shows such blatant favoritism because we watched it play out in real time. We actually started discussing it on here, that Walney Oaks got moved. I'm dying to know who lives in WO who works at Gatehouse or knows Reid.

How stupid do they think we are? All of the other published documents AND the address toolbar had WO areas moving to Stone/Westfield. It wasn't a "glitch". Someone forgot to tell the consultants that Walney Oaks had paid their bribe and were "off the table".

Agree that Seema is clearly taking care of her property values, her neighborhood and her current assigned school, Centreville, at the expense of other areas.

Chantilly Mews kids need to be moved back to Chantilly. Walney Oaks and the rest of Bull Run--not just the apartment buildings and including Seema's McMansion-need to go to Westfield.
