The killing of American conservative influencer Charlie Kirk sparked a wave of condemnation from European leaders across the political spectrum overnight.
European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, from the center-right European People’s Party, said she was “shocked at the horrific assassination.”
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, from the center-left Labour Party, rebuked political violence and said his thoughts are with Kirk’s loved ones.
“It is heartbreaking that a young family has been robbed of a father and a husband. We must all be free to debate openly and freely without fear — there can be no justification for political violence,” Starmer said.

My teenage daughter is devastated. She during covid she became depressed, lost on the internet, she/they etc. She found Charlie Kirk and TPU and it helped her clarify her values, turn to God, and make healthier choices. She sees people on Snapchat celebrating his death.
This assassination will only galvanize the conservative youth. God is moving among and through Gen Z men. They understand that laws will not save us, politics will not save us, only Jesus can save us. Christ is King.

King pushed peaceful protest, Kirk pushed debate and activism. Up until his death today, Kirk was the face of conservative youth in America, shaping the conversation for millions. You may not know his impact, but it is strong, and many are already equating him to MLK for the conservative movement because of the reach, the speeches, and the nonviolent approach.
23 million unique followers or are some people counted multiple times because they followed him on multiple platforms? Also, how do you know how many accounts are real versus bots?
