His family was quoted as saying he struggles with mental health issues. That doesn't make him a serial killer, but perhaps he is manic.

The stupidity on this thread makes me question the jury system. Let me spell it out for you. I’m the Body Cam video, both of these young people admit to the police they are mentally ill. The police remark that the issues were mental health, not DV. You cannot watch that video without seeing mental illness (unless they were on drugs, which Gabby strongly denied, also in the video). Now maybe he killed her. Or maybe she died and that amplified his mental issues, to a point where he thought he killed her. I’m just saying it’s distressing how everyone on this forum thinks they know he’s scum and a murdered. Let’s wait at least for toxicology anc time of death before we hang the guy.

They had no evidence that he hit her. The other 911 call saying he hit her was from another incident. The fact that they didn’t charge her implies that they knew something was off about the story, but they simply didn’t have grounds to do anything else other than what they did.

I cannot in good faith agree with the posters who are saying the cops did a great job.

That is not their fault.

What IS their fault is that they handled the August 12 situation horribly.
They didn’t take into account that another witness had claimed that Brian was seen striking Gabby.

Yes, in watching the Body Cam video, it doesn't seem like they had this info at the time. If they did, they weren't discussing it on the video.
