It’s taken me a long time to accept that she’s not a Christ follower. I’m not being judgmental - I try to never determine someone’s heart when it comes to this. You say you love Jesus, I believe you. End of.
But Jesus says we judge other self-proclaimed believers by their fruit. And the fruits of the spirit are charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control, chastity. I just don’t see those.
I gave her the benefit of the doubt for so long that I feel like a fool. The Jesus Jen loves is one she’s made in her own image.
I guess I’m naive. But, it stings.

What was said in the podcast? I can’t bring myself to listen.
This is copied from the transcript (Tyler was speaking):
I’m going to say this man, and I probably shouldn’t say this in a public forum. I don’t understand how anyone could leave Jen, in the way that Jen has been left before.
Listen, I’m a grown ass man, so I know relationships don’t work out, things change and this that and the other, but I can’t imagine spending 20 plus years with Jennifer Lynn King, and then be okay not still having her around, because you’re that damn good, Jennifer.

I’ll admit, I enjoyed parts of it and thought there were some really good people there. But they were so weird and sanctimonious, but trying really hard not to be. They gave off this “bless your heart” vibe, and we’re fake AF. Looking back, they were running a shell game looking for bigger cons at every turn. In fact, I never connected with either of them- we weren’t “popular” enough to be in the in crowd with the Pruets and Shelton’s and whoever else was up their rectum. Should have known they’d fall from Grace like nearly every other conman religious fake. But hey, they’ve both done well at it, so I guess they’re living the American Dream- get yours by any means necessary and F the working man.
