Because they have been too afraid to move more than one white team kid down in the past two years they are going to lose the 5 or 6 best kids from the third team to other clubs. No coach is going to be able to build a competitive team with what's left. And middle school seems kind of late to depend on pulling any more kids from rec league to fill out a roster.
I have talked with some parents from other clubs like you who felt like their teams were failing or uncompetitive - so maybe they could pick up some kids from those teams?
The good news is that the new coach (TBD) couldn't be any worse than the outgoing one.
It looks like they aren't hiring a third coach. Aren't tryouts tonight and still no coach
listed?
Surprising to me that they wouldn't try to roster a third, hopeless team just for the cash.
If they had enough kids they would absolutely put together a third team. Valor is as greedy as they come. They must not have enough kids

and replacing him with a really young kid. They have hired three coaches for 2011 girls but only 2 for 2011 boys.
Given the 2011G team is in first but their coach is going to SYC, not surprised they moved a strong coach over. Although I did hear a few girls were following the coach to SYC and a few were going to NVA, it will be a much different team next year.

You are 2 weeks behind all the other regional teams in tryouts and some have already concluded. With that, they have locked in some of the players you never even saw. Every year, we as parents scratch our heads trying to figure out how you are supposed to grow if you make these same basic mistakes. Tryouts start in late April, not Mid May and you aren't good enough for kids to pass on other clubs.
